TVH firmly believes in contributing to society so as to uplift the underprivileged and give them a fair chance in life. To this end, TVH has involved itself wholeheartedly in corporate social initiatives.
Medical camps are routinely organized at TVH sites for contract laborers and their family members.
Creches and schools have also been organized at each site to educate the children of contract laborers. Only qualified teachers are employed at these creeches and schools.
TVH has adopted more than 700 orphan children from the Indian Council of Child Welfare. TVH also donates to Udavum Karangal, a charity for orphans and the destitute, as well as to other such charities.
Under the ‘Give Life Project’, TVH periodically conducts medical camps in economically backward villages, and organizes day care facilities for the children of the laborers.

The students were enrolled by the end of October after many orientation sessions with their parents. The project began on November 5, 2007. The school building was inaugurated by Mr. Ravichandran, Chairman TVH. Regular classes for students are conducted in English. Various techniques like activity base learning using charts, spell board, building blocks, counting beads, drawing, craft works, rhymes, games and drill are conducted.
Periodical medical check-ups are conducted for the students,and medicines are provided for their ailments.National days and festivals are also celebrated in the school. The Parents Teacher’s healthy relationship is also helping to improve the quality of students.teachers also aid the mothers who share their problems with them.

To provide medical assistance to prenatal and postnatal mothers, and children through regular medical checkups. Ensure nutritional needs for prenatal and postnatal mothers by providing them nutritional packages.
To educate pregnant mothers through regular workshops on aspects to be followed during pregnancy. Educate mothers to understand the special nutritional needs of new born, notably the value of breastfeeding and the importance of introducing suitable complementary foods at the right age.
Protecting children from infection, by such measures as immunization against common childhood diseases and provision of safe water and sanitation. Ensuring that children receive quality care when they fall ill.
Malnutrition is prevalent in the village among women and children. The major factors contributing to it are their food patterns, lack of nutritional awareness, lack of awareness of the facilities available around them, and their accessibility towards them and occupational pattern. Anemia is also largely present among women.
Medical Check-ups: Through the project, a general medical check-up assessing weight, BP, Hemoglobin, diabetics, malnutrition and deficiency will be organized.
Give Life Chennai Marathon organized by Tamil Maiyam and Goodwill Communications Ltd. was co-sponsored by True Value Homes India Private Limited. The Marathon was successfully organized on September 27, 2009. As a part of promotional activity, T-shirts bearing Company’s brand and logo was distributed to the public and the participants of the event.
TVH sponsored the FIBA ASIA Women Basket Ball Championship ’09 held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium from 17th – 24th September ’09. TVH felicitated 9 Indian International Players participation in State Level Volley Ball Tournament organized at Chennai from 26th September – 1st November ’09.
TVH participated in the Mega Job Mela, 2008, on August 09, 2008. organised by Ms. Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, Member of Parliament and Goodwill Communication. Many new recruits were hired into the organization including physically handicapped.
TVH participated in the Kalaignar 86 Job fair that held in Cuddalore from 6th – 8th November ’09.
Educational scholarships are offered to the deserving students who excel in academics and sports in the Rajalakshmi Mills High School, Coimbatore. The fund was distributed to build basket ball courts and hygienic rest rooms.
TVH Coimbatore Marathon is a sports event where the surge of athletism and physical fitness, combined with the human urge of compassion, aimed to inspire the city of Coimbatore. Rotary Club of Coimbatore Texcity and CRPF joined hand to conduct the TVH Coimbatore Marathon, an event to create awareness about the importance of educating the Girl child. It was coordinated through students of the BSMED – Bharathiar University and held on November 22, 2009.
